NAME: Dwayne, "The Rock", Johnson TYPE: autographed trading card SUBJECT: "The Mummy Returns" motion picture PRODUCED BY: Inkworks DATE: 2001 NOTES: This card was one of 7 different hand-signed cards featuring the various cast members of the movie, inserted into the packs. The autograph cards were not signed in time for the actual set so redemption cards were inserted into the packs. "The Rock" was by far the rarest card of the set having only signed 100 of them and speculated insertion rates of as much as 1 in every 10 cases. With his prominence as a world-famous wrestler and now movie-star, the value of the card is considerably high. Even though his screen-time was miniscule, a subsequent prequel has emerged which will only serve to solidify his star status and increase the value of his card.
