Every card comes sealed in a 1/4 inch one-screwdown with a "sports time inc certified" sticker sealing both ends. Despite the large number of cards signed (2500), one should not be fooled into thinking the card is widely available. Arguably the most internationally well known playmate ever next to Marilyn Monroe, Ms. Anderson's autograph card was picked up by collectors almost immediately upon release and since then have very rarely surfaced on the open market. With her fame, notoriety, and seemingly infinite appeal, there is little doubt she won't be remembered as an icon of the late twentieth century, thus making anything collectible connected to her, highly-prized and will only become more so as time goes by. This card last sold for well over $100 USD, which is above book value and should be considered a bargain. Categorized as highly collectible, this means it will be worth considerably more over time than average autographed cards. It is recommended that if you can find one, you should buy it immediately and store it away for not only your own personal satisfaction, but also for owning a genuine piece of twentieth-century nostalgia.
