Paulina was the face of Estée Lauder for ten years and was replaced in 1995 by Elizabeth Hurley. She has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition and in Playboy (1987). Paulina was named as one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in 1992 and once released her own calendar. Paulina has appeared in a couple of movies, "Covergirl",
"Anna", "Her Alibi", "Arizona Dream", "Wedding Bell Blues", "Female Perversions" and "Long Time Since". She wrote a children's book called Ralphie the Roach. Paulina is married to Ric Ocasek of The Cars and has a son, Jonathan. She has stated recently that she is in (semi)retirement and is working on a book about the modeling industry.
