She came to the spotlight in the critically acclaimed, Mermaids, but came to fame
as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family movie in 1991. She followed that up
with Casper and has since appeared in numerous critically acclaimed, but barely
noticed movies. If anything, her roles seem to be very selective, quite a feat for a young actress. Evidently, her
acting abilities are very versatile.
