In a world of plastic foods, prewrapped goods, and manufactured emotions, Pink follows a new
rebellious trend in music where the real, real world becomes paramount and things are not all
loving gushiness that can be glossed over with a tune. Her generation has no time for
hardships, showing resiliency in the face of opposition and looking out for who is most important: oneself.
This is reflected in her music which "tells it like it is". Life isn't trivial but having
fun doesn't make it less meaningful.
